8. MANUFACTURING METHODS
There are currently two manufacturing methods for plasma displays. One is the AC-power method which developed the colour technology, and the other is the DC-power method, used by several major competitors. The AC-power method offers a number of clear advantages in that it has low voltage discharge, offers an estimated life-span that is 5 times longer than DC-power, has a wider viewing angle and a better contrasted picture.
